Who we are

The Tennessee Academic Advising Association, or TennACADA, is the primary professional organization for the academic advisors and student support personnel working at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

The association is an allied member of The Global Community for Academic Advising (NACADA) and supports the goals and programs of NACADA.  The Tennessee Academic Advising Association was created to address these continuing goals:

  • to provide a forum for sharing ideas and exchanging information related to academic advising and student success strategies at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville
  • to provide members with opportunities for professional development and peer support, ultimately building a network of resources to enhance student success.
  • to represent and promote student success through academic advising and campus partnerships throughout the University of Tennessee and local community colleges.
